Two craftsman chainsaws $35 used to run good then starter thing broke. I bought another one just like it and it runs good but now I have a new one and don't need these. One is about 14 inch, other is bigger. The picture showed the grey version of the Poulan 3.4/3.7 series saw.

It turns out that they are 3.7's one with a 16" Oregon bar and the other one has the original 20" bar and chain. They are blowing 150 and 155 pounds of compression. The guy said that he got a lot of calls but everyone told him sears saws are junk and didn't think they were worth anything. I will take all of these I can get in this condition for $17.50 each....:hmm3grin2orange:

I saw those but was too busy with work to get away. Good deal in my mind. Congrats

I feel kinda sorry for the poor guy on E-Bay that bids on an inflated "buy it now" saw that is all beat to crap and provides almost no info other than "turns over and has good chain". Usually a first or second time bidder. Guess you got to start somewhere.

I hear those are really sumfin' in da' hard cut. Especially when they are spray painted black........er........I mean "parkerized".

Theres a guy in the Mac thread that posted recently, and his pics reminded me of that guy, alot. #19732, first post, 62alf.

Thanks for the heads up, mang. I'll see if Tom's got some time to go check it out. You know how patient, and understanding he is.:potstir:
