I noticed in one picture there is a pro sticker and the next one it is gone

Also it appears to have been painted with the muffler, and handlebar attached. Hence all of the white overspray.


I'd gladly take the bars, and chains for the right price though.

Yeah, this smells less and less good. CL guy never responded to my message. 'PRO' sticker thing looks funny on both saw ads (different photos though). eBay guy has LOTS of 'new STIHL' bars and chains.

I'm thinking they did not come out of Germany or Switzerland or Virginia Beach Jon.

However, if you are interested, check out the eBay guy's other listings. He has bars and chains.

Maybe it used to be a Pro, but got caught in the random drug testing program and had to turn in it's stripes:jester:

No part numbers on the underside of the rear handle either... The 026 pro never had a humped up air filter cover either, they were flat. Starter cover looks wrong, it should say made in USA or West Germany on there. Rear handle has three holes to adjust the high/low needles... NO SIR!

Rule #1.... always include pictures
Rule #2.... never post a Craigslist ad for a cheap deal until its in your hands! You could pay that guy double his asking price and still triple your money if in fact it does run! AND that's after he ships it to me.

That deal would probably have paid for all the 029s, 019 and 026 you just bought!

why look at the manual when it's right in front of you on the saw your selling in plain spelling and very visible. makes me wonder. if they screwed up just the name in the ad, what have they screwed up on the saw?
