4-100' Rolls Stihl Chainsaw Chain

I have no experience buying chain in bulk, I wonder if the 3rd & 4th roll are making some folks think twice:

"1st roll 100' 90%(or more) full full chisle .375 .063,
2nd 100' 90% (plus).375 .058 chisle,
3rd about 20% .325 .050
4th roll about 25% semi chisle.325 .063"

How Lame, He should at least at least do a little research before he posts a bunch of bullarcky. Guess he never heard of the 041 super. :looser:

A classic big Stihl chainsaw that cranks & will run circles around new saws in its class. The carb has been rebuilt & tuned. Comes with a 22" bar & chain sharpened. Cranks on the second pull(no primer on this beast, old school saw). This saw has a lot of torque compared to today's saws. The rpms are not as high but the shear torque allows this beast to cut through the hardest wood. There were 3 variances of the 041: 041, 041 AV, 041 Farm Boss. The Farm Boss was the biggest of these

I thought the same thing about the ad when I saw it.

Little help please.

New to looking for chainsaws on CL and the Bay. Is there a CL program that will send alerts if you're looking for something particular?

Also any good deals I'm finding seem to be 2 1/2 to 3hrs outside my area. Any tips for getting the deals done without driving that far. Is there a way to do payment that gives you any kind of assurance of getting what you're paying for like an escrow type deal. Any help is appreciated. My cad is all your guys fault. You become who you hang out with.:hmm3grin2orange:

FeeBay allows you set up saved searches and get an email once per day when anything new shows up.

You can search CL with Craigslist Alerts at List-Alert.com or with SearchTempest Online Classifieds Search - All the Classifieds. One Search.. There may even be others.

The former allows you to set up email alerts. You specify what you're searching for and where.

The latter searches CL within a radius of a location you specify.

Thanks for the help. Tied to rep ya but it says I have to spread it around a bit.

mcgullog chain saw

One for Aaron. Hope he can handle all 16cc :msp_wink:

Ugh.:bang:

Somebody posted that one a week or so ago. Probably the WingNut. That idiot seller actually used two different spellings for McCulloch (one in the title and another in the description). Also guessed (incorrectly) that the displacement was 16cc based on the 3516 model #. I wonder if he thinks it has a 35" bar.....
