Somebody posted that one a week or so ago. Probably the WingNut. That idiot seller actually used two different spellings for McCulloch (one in the title and another in the description). Also guessed (incorrectly) that the displacement was 16cc based on the 3516 model #. I wonder if he thinks it has a 35" bar.....

eBay suprise--someone might explain?

I was following item number 330951855367. It was a 200t in tore down condition.
Looks like the Seller cancelled MANY bids--as high as $282.00 and sold it for $171.50.
I was not aware that a seller could do this.

He has the right to cancel the bids right up to it being sold. He could even say sorry after the fact and not sell it. Had a guy do that to me, said he dropped it, told him so what send it... he refused and got a negative feedback from me!

I really don't think it's in good form to cancel a sale after the bidding has started. If he was worried about the low price it was going to bring he should have started the bidding higher. I've cancelled sales before, after three or four days and no bids, I just figured it wasn't gonna sell. This usually happens when trying to sell plastic Poulan saws, they just aren't attractive to ebay buyers. I still try to sell them once in a while...

Yep, if I wanted one this is exactly what I would do: post an Ebay link on the largest forestry/arborist/chainsaw website. You just exposed at least 300 more potential buyers to this saw.
