You are right and I did buy it for $150
It was a test chainsaw for Oregon chainsaws.
It is in like new condition, will post pictures tomorrow.

Hey all...stopped in the local shop today to get some little parts, and the tech asked me if I knew anyone in the market for a good running 084. He took me in the back to look at it, and here are the particulars: seems to be a clean 084 (didn't take a really close look), has an aftermarket filter and filter cover with a minor crack, and comes with a choice of bars. One looks to be 48", Oregon, good shape. The one that is on the powerhead has got to be 5 feet, but I will verify that if there is any interest, and it's a Cannon that looks near new.

The shop is selling it consignment, and the owner wants- and again I think I have the numbers right but will verify-$450 for the powerhead and the shorter bar, $500 for the powerhead and the Cannon bar, and $550 for the lot.

If anyone is interested in more information, I'd be happy to take some photos and pass them along.
