Good taste indeed. It's almost time to start expanding my collection since I've got a lot of the homelites I want...basically all the "stars" as jason would say. I got my eyes on some pioneers for sure

Its nice and i would love to have it cause that's what my dad used to cut all our wood when I was a kid but its not $700 nice.

Maybe i should go punch my uncle in the face and take my saw back. if my dad was alive he would do the same thing.

Poulan 2800 16" 45cc for $33 - Stihl 026 for $40

I'm not bragging ... it just feels good to get killer deals on a saw once in a while. And both in the same day!!!

The Poulan 2800 for $33 is barely used with Original bar and Chain.

What a treat.

The Stihl was seized ... not sure why. But after some work I got it loose. Purged it with a blend of strait gas, carb cleaner and liquid wrench wash and many cord pulls to blow out and loosten the seated piston up a bit.

Got 170 psi but can't sustain a run with it yet.

It is in overall good condition once I figure out why it dies when I throttle it and the choke kicks off. ... Dirty carb? Air leak? Cracked fuel line? dono yet.

Do people not know what they are buying/paying? A couple minutes research would have got this guy a lot better saw for the same money, like a 362 at the local dealer.

I can't really think of a reason that someone bid it that high, even schill bidding shouldn't cause that to happen..........

My guess is that since he was willing to ship internationally it was foreign bidders. Prices of saws are crazy in other countries. I have looked into it some in my travels with the military and it is mind boggling what some countries pay for things. Its bad enough up here in Alaska. It was probably a pretty good deal for them!

That's not a 1560. Wrap handle is all wrong. And, even from the pictured angle, the gearcase/fuel tank would be very visible.

Looks like a McCulloch 1-70, and a Mall 0MG. I'd certainly grab the McCulloch if it was local. Lots of guys collect the Mall's as well. Good deals.
