I'm having second thoughts about this saw, cause it sure would make a great looking hotsaw!

.

Jack,

DAMN!... I TOLD ya it'd clean up nice ;) the damn top end is probably with more than the asking price of the WHOLE SAW!!! :D

betcha there's still PLENTY of machine marks there..

DOES IT RUN?!?

The ads have two different sellers listed

Look at the saws closely, (it would be the one one top of the original double listing, the "B" was removed but you can see the scuff marks in the new listing were it was.)
The saw is still sporting the custom gear drive spline gear for the winch. And having multiple accounts is a bigger sellers security blanket.

Hmm.... I WONDER who was the original auction winner :monkey: ... MIGHT I know who?!

090G that was once with a pair!

Here is the original auction. Heard first hand the story that the seller gave to get out of the auction, just to turn around and separate the winches and power heads. Smart, but a auction is a auction.

The original listing Two Stihl 090 Chainsaws with Power Wrench attachments | eBay

yea i seen that too.but right now i'm bidding on just the one saw and right now i got the lead with my bid being 500.00.so hopefully i'll get this one. and i need to know if you can change it back to a chainsaw by replacing the winch attachment and replaceing it with a regular gear drive for a chain?

I think you are right it is the same saw but I think someone bought them for the 1500 and is now selling them a piece at a time surely he will take that sprocket off to go with the power wrench box

TS BOUGHT the two for 1500...
the seller BACKED OUT with some BS story

and

is now selling with a secondary account he uses ONCE a quarter, on average...because he may have found out they were worth a bit more than originally planned...

sound bout right ;)

Your killing me Jack,
Pleassssssse send it to me.

Lee

Close, just got the scoop as it unfolded.
Again, the guy was smart parting them and relisting them!

One pretty sick 066 with some custom port and piston work for sale. Cat sellin' is a member here. Saw is not in Kodiak, AK... but is in Orofino, ID. Member forgot to update his ebay account after he moved from AK.

I've seem 'em in nice shape go for $250 on ebay, but I doubt that one will fetch $324 as its not that nice.
