Damn Rick. Nothing good left except the 450 and maybe the 360. Sorry to pee on yer post. I'm a bit drunksky. Just blew the engine in my diesel truck on the way to a GTG.........................that I NEEDED to go to for fun and stress relief. Hope you sell what you need to sell.

Crap! Does this mean that RandyMac didn't make it?

Dang, Aaron, that blows. I just found out my wife's car needs $700 worth of repairs before I can take it to TN next week. Not sure how that is going to happen.

New muffler bearing and turn signal fluid and you will be back on the road:D

Randy assured me that he'll still be going. That was my biggest concern. I HATE letting people down when they're counting on me. If I have to rebuild that engine (6.9L IHC diesel in an 86 F250 4X4) it'll cost me $2K+ in parts and machining........................or $3-4K for a crate reman engine. NFW I have that kind of cheddar. Probably gonna have to sell the truck for parts, or trade it in on a new commuter crapbox (along with my current commuter crapbox which is dying after 164k miles). I love that diesel Ford. It's got just shy of 196k on the clock, and has served me well. Spending $3k or more on a $3K truck doesn't make sense. I'm so damn bummed right now. Already drank most of the good whiskey that I had packed for the trip. About to go out to the truck to raid the cooler for the beer (and kick the ####in' thing while I'm out there) to keep the bummers away...

I say fix the ole girl.
Even if you have to buy a junk yard motor.
I have an 86 F250 4x4 extra cab and it has been
the best truck i have ever had. 6.9 diesel, 4 speed
with 357K on the clock and still runs excellent.

Just start "fixing" it and maybe it will "Accidentally" catch on fire and burn up. Just make sure the insurance is good. :msp_ohmy:

Just put a Cummins in it, and be done :D  It won't be ONLY a $3k truck then....

I must commend your spelling and grammar for being a drunky... better than some sober as a bird :D
