Stihl 361 $250

Sorry, I posted this as a new thread when I should have done it here. Anyway, I am very happy about finding this local saw on craiglist. It's real clean and cuts like mad. $250.00... SOLD

At least he's honest....

A couple of my neighbors have those. I've helped them clean them up, sharpen the chains, etc. Won't replace a 70cc saw. And can't run a firewood business with it.

But with a sharp chain, they are really nice in the city for trimming brush, limbs, etc. $30 is about the right price, especially if it includes the cord shown.

Yeah...

But without the need for a muffler you can still hear the Ol' lady. Kinda seems Un-American not to burn petroleum! I suppose if you have a loud generator at the other end, it might off-set somehow...

Yeah, this probably needs to move the electric saw thread. Less noise, less vibration, no gas to store/spill, no smoke. No repetitive pulling of the rope. Have to put up with a lot. But in the city, I am usually within a 100 feet of an outlet. Father away, I need the petrol.

possibly the same Manufacturer as the husky.

Makita and Dolmar electrics are identical except for the color. Don't know who makes Husqvarna's motors.

is it gone? if your looking, I'll send you mine for less than that to your door! :D

J - Don't know if it's gone or not. Thanks for your offer, but I (1) already have a beast in the project list and (2) have a 'no creamsickles' policy here. The Yellow Legion may ostracize me if I get outta line ... but buddy, that bad boy would be great for scaring kids and small dogs!
