Yes, I bought it. I have a large Cannon bar to put on it for fun. I really like the two 360's I have and thought $139 shipped was worth picking this 450 up. I just have to figure out how replace the gasket between the oil and fuel tank. No, I still have two 925's semi apart at the moment. I was working on them for my small engine class when the class ended. I've been so busy I have not gotten back to them.

I had actually went all the way up to the point I was signed into Paypal to pay the feller when I backed out and posted the link here, thank you for saving me from myself. Bring it to the GTG so I can play with it.......... :D I will have my 550 there with a bow and a straight bar.

For some reason this version has tank problems. I have owned a 360, 450, (2) 550's, (2) 650 supers, and (2) 750's, and my 450 has the same problem as yours. None of the other saws have ever had a tank problem. I bought a used tank for like $39 from chainsawr.com and I am just about ready to put it in.

Anyways, be careful, as the problem might not be the gaskets.

Also, look for a 550 carb to put in your saw. The 450's came with a fixed H jet and it sucks. The 550 carb has an adjustable H jet and is fully compatible with the 450. I already did this mod on my saw, right before I realized the tank was shot. I was wondering why the saw was smoking so much.... lol. Running on like a 1:1 mix of gas and bar oil.

Thanks for the advice. I will probably get a new tank as you did. Seems easier and my address more than one problem. I did not know that at all about the carb. If I can get one that's good and a good price it sounds like a no brainer.
