Heck that guy talks up the 10-10S even more than you Ted. "The Harley Davidson of Chainsaws"....:hmm3grin2orange:

It sure is a nice looking example for the price. Somebody should ignore the BS and go pick it up.

really, this guys sales tactics aside... Ive never seen a 10-10 in that good of shape in recent memory and not for $100.

You can find them for $100 all day long, but not looking like that...

Yes. Twice I think.

Wonder if this guy would accept my first born in exchange for his $800 Mac 10-10?

Chain Saw (McCulloch)

That's NICE...........but he's outa his tree. There've been more than a few of those NIB 10-10's (and PM700's, and 10-10S saws) on feebay. I think the most I've seen one go for was around $400-$500. There's more NOS saws of those series still available than people realize. This CL seller's just throwing a # against the wall to see if it will stick. They'll keep relisting (at lower prices methinks) until it sells. May take a couple years.....:cool2:

I certainly hope your first born is worth more than $800 to you. I wouldn't give up either of my kids for $10000000000000000 times that number...

Isnt this the one you been lookin for JJ?

Yowch...that's about $7k more than I'd be willing to spend...

I don't know how many of you have actually shipped heavy two man saws around the globe - I have and it costs alot of money. That figure is cheap for a big two man coming from Germany.

Chris.

That's the reality of it. Aussie and Euro collectors wanting the big American iron have had to pay through the nose to get it, and same for us American slobs wanting the Euro two-man saws.

somebody buy these things. looks like a great deal

Antique chainsaws chain saw McCulloch David Bradley

1. For the folks who live in areas where old chainsaws are common, that's not a good deal.

2. The top-handle mini-Macs are much despised as a major PITA to repair.

3. The Mac 610 has its fans :dizzy:, but not many of them are here on AS.

4. The old DBs aren't exactly rare, & are relatively cheap (see #1). Some DBs are the exception if they have large engines and are really good condition.
