Ron

Ron, On friday you promised a "reveal with a twist". Ive been out of town all weekend, so i'm just catching up.. What's the story on "new" saws arriving to your home???

The "story" is still being written. No pictures as I obviously have not figured out the new way of posting pictures. Not trying to be a tease or a pain but I'm still working something. Ron

Ron, Two sounds like one to many. You know with all the maintenence that those older saws require. If you EVER feel the need to lighten your inventory by, say, 7.5 cu. in. PLEASE let me know.. PS have fun with em, go make some chips.

It's similar to the old way. Start with manage attachments. Drag down what you want to show. (small pic is best). But when you get to the "copy image location" you have to hit "preview post" then click on paste on the little square icon to the right of the mail. Right click on the place where it asks for the url then click paste....I didn't do very well explaining that but others have done better on AS elsewhere.

Thanks. I can't say I completely followed you but I'll give it a shot next time. I think I have been copying a url that has a limited life. Don't really know what a url is but I assume we are talking the address. Ron

Diesel - wasn't a whole lot of cutting Saturday, my knees got a little sore from wrestling with the big chunks into the splitter (the beam tips vertical for the ones you can't lift). I did manage to wear the middle fingers out of both gloves moving the rest of the wood pile.

Wendell - go back to my "vacation" thread and you'll see why there was a tree in the middle of my wood pile.

Ron, somebody posted descent instructions under "posting pics for dummies" on this site. I did the search thing and got 20 pages of threads. It took a while to read a bunch of them, look for the "dummies" one, I found it to be the most useful. Beware tho, you may still have problems. I posted pics no prob. for a couple of weeks, then, BAM wouldn't work. Now the process does work.
So, what's new at your house??????

Mark, Knee pads man. My dad's recovering from his TOTAL knee replacement surgury. Ouch. I now keep three pair of knee pads scattered about, shop, truck, and the garage. My knees never feel the hard, cold, surface of concrete!

I'll try to simplify it some more:
1. Click "manage attachments"
2. Drag image you want to post to the bottom box
3. Click "done" at bottom right.
4. Click "preview post"
5. Right click on url
6. Click "copy link location"
7. Click on square "insert image" icon at top by letter icon
8. Right click on line with http
9. click "paste"
10. Click "submit reply"

It's easier once you've done it a few times.
