I just bought a monster bar and chain off of Saw-King on Ebay, but you can't have it.... lol.
You STOLE that bar, as has been stated already!
Mac 1-70 from Randy, it's a runner. Pretty darn nice shape, pulls that bar well.
A 380, it's clean, great compression and spark. Needs a carb kit, definitly a runner in time.
7-10A from Jon, runner. The saw was well used, but still runs nice.
What do we have here? It's a Super 550! Runs excellent. Thanks Chris
Thanks to all the guys for hooking me up with these.
Chris
Damn Chris, you are on fire. And I thought I was doing well with the 650 and 200 I got from a local CL seller on Thursday.
That 380 is basically the same saw as the 300 we were talking about earlier. According to the 1965 Service Manual supplement, the 300 replaced the 380 as their less expensive 87cc saw. If the Acres listing for the 380 sez 80cc, then don't believe it.
Thieroff just posted his new S550 which I traded to him for this 650 gear drive. I finished converting this over to a HL with a locking choke. For a gear drive, this saw is no slowpoke. I'm expecting a batch of roller nose bars along with a total of 60' of 1/2" full chisel Oregon #10. Should be a 28" General in there that will find a home on this saw. I've wanted one of these for quite some time and I can see what all the fuss is about.

Congratuations to the "Chris Twins" on their trade!
I just scored a McCulloch 650 that I would have traded for a Super 550. I am damn happy to get it however. I'll get some pics of it up soon. Has good compression and pops on a prime. Probably going to swap out the primer flatback for a Tilly HL.
It looks like the just-traded saw, except the bar's about 2" longer (mine's a 26" and the pictured one looks like a 24" to me), the PO broke out part of the starter screen for some reason (easier access to lube the starter pawl pins maybe), the starter housing is black, and it's missing the spikes. Doesn't look like it ever had spikes mounted, as the mounting screw and nut holes have intact paint in 'em (and the paint on the front of the flange is pretty worn from contact with the wood). It's missing the AF cover decal and model/serial number tag. It has "650" stamped under a lined-out "300" on the block.
Haven't checked the gearbox to see if it's 2/1 or 3/1 yet. IIRC, the "Chris 650" has a 2/1 box. That'd explain why it's pretty speedy for a gear drive. It'd make a good racer in the gear drive class. I don't think I'd bet on it if Bill or Lee are running one of their 2/1 ratio 7+ ci gear drives though...
