Aight, I found some info here about some guys making their own linkage, I may try that. But I can't make a trigger. Thanks

Joey, I just bought a trigger from Axeman; received it yesterday along with some other 125 stuff. It seems everything I need eventually shows up in one of his listings. I can send you his name and address if you want them. Ron

My 125 is weeping fuel on the left side. Not a flowing leak, but a film at the seem about 2" long from sitting over night. Any thoughts on how best to seal that?

I just replaced a tank for that same reason.
Mine was leaking just above the seam from
corrosion inside the tank.
I wonder if any of those tank sealer kits would
work. It's that liquid stuff you put inside the tank.

I've used some from NAPA? and it works well. But I never had to spin and twirl a saw that size to get it applied. And if you remove the tank to do it, why not replace it?

It's too nice to junk without trying to fix it.

if any of you guys own a super pro 40, you may be interested in this info. i took a PM510 carb and installed it in the SP40 so i could have both adjustments. it really runs better, this little saw will impress for its size.

in the pic below, you can see these two pieces are different. i used the SP40 piece on the PM510 carb.

The first of only two MACs I bought new was a 510 with a 16" bar and 1/4 pitch chain. It would consistantly outcut much larger displacement homeowner saws. But I kept ripping the plastic recoil loose and it was hard to start. I was just a kid so I replaced it with a new PM700. I dismantled it to power a model RC airplane. I never got the plane so it when to the dump. Ron

what displacement is the 510? isn't it a little smaller than the SP40?

I ran across a PM55 at a pawn shop but noticed a decompression button on the cylinder. Did the PM55 have a decomp or could this be a saw with a different filter cover? Price was a bit high for a 54 cc saw but might be ok for a 70cc saw.

57cc. Same displacement as a 10-10S. I believe they did have a decomp.

Model Profile: Pro Mac 55

Now the ? is should I get it? I don't have one and it has a very nice 24 inch McCulloch sprocket tip bar on it. I think price was in the $70 range.
