Been cleaning up my 895 block, but I still have a finger nail catcher below the exhaust port.....Do the rings come down that far on these blocks? Just trying to make sure. Thanks - Sam

The rings will go below the exhaust floor a little bit. Is it transfer or a gouge? BTW did you get the IPL Sam?

Transfer, gave it the acid treatment, cleaned up nice. Got the block all buttoned up this afternoon, just got to start making a few gaskets now.

Thank you for the IPL, very helpful......My memory gets a little fuzzy after 8 months!

I've got a chunk of metal bouncing around inside the muffler of my Power Mac 1000. Can't get it out. I removed the muffler and the cylinder side is intact, so I'm not too concerned about something getting into the cylinder. Do I need to worry about the piece bouncing around in there?

Also wondering if the air filter is supposed to have any filter material inside the filter box? Currently the air filter is basically a box with a very fine screen on both sides. It splits in two pieces, and seems like maybe there should be additional filter material inside?

Hoping to start milling with this beast in the next couple days. Can't wait.

Ok I have a question for everyone!!
I have a D36 with a removable head, I see on Acers Model Profile: D36
That one does not have a removable head. So my question is, whats the difference between one with a removable head and one that does not have a removable head?
