Thanks a bunch Aaron,
Found the part # 69345.
Now to order up.

Good deal Lee. I figured the part # the other guys gave you would be the right one as I don't believe the gasket changed during 10-10 production. I'd have to scour all the 10-10 IPL's to be sure about that however. In any case, you still should have the right IPL for your saw. Several other parts did change throughout the close to 30 years of 10-10 production.

"anyone here snag the CL 10-10A from near ATL? good lookin' saw, and you just beat me to it "
Who got it ? I saw it last night and my wife said I was crazy for wanting to drive 2hours to get another chainsaw. So I past cause I could tell she was not happy about it. CAD is such a
b!%#h lol.

Thank you Aaron for the IPL on the CP70L, I will be using it tomorrow to button it up. I can't wait to get it running, and the PM850 as well.

Thanks Ray, still kind of drifting in and out of consciousness...

I will be out again next week (Quebec) but expect to be in during the first two weeks in April, hopefully we can do something then.

I have a red & white Remington Super 660 set aside for you, probably will never be a runner but it has a nice roller nose bar!

Mark

I have one as well. It is a runner, but I robbed the carburetor off this one to put on one of the SP125's, bigger bore and adjustable H & L.

My north wall has not caved in yet and there always seems to be room for "just one

more saw" so great news, and maybe I'll see you at Dad's birthday party this weekend.

Wow Mark. That one looks like it has H&S spikes on it. Was it a west coast saw? How would you compare running it to your SP-81's? I have an SP-81, a PM700, and a 7-10A. Wondering where a SP/CP-70 would fit in with them regarding power, vibes, and weight (and therefore whether or not to seek one out). I'd like to have a version of my 70cc Macs with AV, so long as it is still smaller/lighter than the SP-81. Heck........................I wouldn't pass one up if it came my way anyways. Just need to figure out if I should expend any effort/$$ to ensure that it DOES happen...:D

Update on adjustment screws... still haven't forgot about them (or gotten around to them) yet. Scraping up the money for maintenance/repairs of the truck (which moved firewood from a pile in the garage to the stacking location out back, long story on the wood being in the garage) It needs fuel level sender, fuel filter, new tank straps, etc. Which I have the parts I need, but am soaking the bed bolts for a week with rust penetrant/oil so they hopefully come out somewhat easy. (like they'll need to anyway, I'll be using the IR 2135... and probably will replace all of the bolts with metric 10.9's and frame clips with nuts welded on them)

I'm still dead set on socket cap bolts for the adjustment screws... shoot me if ya want for saving up 15 bolts x 4 bucks a bolt. Still cleaning up the barn so I have room to work on projects and applying for jobs here and there as well. US made, out of Ohio. Figure we oughta have the best on the good American yellow gold. Then the adjustment nuts... that will be the hard(er) part... but I have a few ideas on how to make those in a reasonably quick manner with good quality.

850 is still apart on the bench, and 790 is moving along very slowly.

Hopefully the old string trimmer stops giving me trouble (went through it a third time since I rebuilt it a while back, it needed a new gasket) so I can hand it off to the guy that might be a source of more saws and maybe a little something for the Ranger... like a big block Ford bolted to a 5 speed manual... might have to trade a little green for that last bit, though. Hope I land a decent job by then.

I'm going crazy over here, and it ain't funny. (no, none of it is your fault, well at least I hope so.) I won't go into why, as some of you already have an idea of my thoughts as to what the hell is going on these days, and which this crap bothers many more than just me.

Yeah, I need a job. It'd help distract my mind and thoughts from the crap that really shouldn't be happening.

Go ahead and yell at me/criticize me/be angry at me if you want. To be quite frank, I won't give a damn. I got more to worry about than getting yelled/etc. at.

Might check in tomorrow. Might not. Don't seem like many give a crap anyhow.

sorry to hear you are having a hard time. You have to do what you have to do for money these days, keep at it something will come up, put it in a higher powers hands if you know what I mean. Try volunteering down at a political headquarters, good way to meet people and maybe get a line on a job or some government assistance depending on what party you volunteer at. We give a crap, it is hard for all of us, hang in there.

That came in handy. I was wondering where to get all the IPLs at once.

It sure does. Somebody else posted it here a few months ago. K&T changed some of their online stuff a couple of weeks ago, and the link went dead. I freaked, then was able to find a good new link to the same index. That's the link I just posted today. Has been very helpful. Here's another good one somebody posted here recently.

I bought a sheet of plywood and cut it up in 2'x2' squares, works great for storing saws on the ground and starting saws with metal cranks on the floor

I've got several saws that leak oil. One of my "keepers", a 353 Husqvarna, leaks all over my shelves. Someone told me it was the nature of them. I found it best to drain ALL the saws before putting them up longer than a day or two.

I have actually been somewhat amazed, I have never noticed alot of my saws leaking oil. I think my 2150 jred is the only one? All my other stihls, jreds, huskys,, mccullochs dont leak oil.

I have several saws that don't leak oil also, seems like the Husqvarnas might be the worst offenders right now. I have a Homelite or two that leaked. Since these don't get used much I just decided to drain them all until I get ready to fire them up again just in case one would start leaking.
