Thanks man!! No PBRs yesturday, got up at 0400 to make a two hr. trip north to go mountain biking. Got home late and was super dehydrated LOL. At work tonight, so probably tomorrow I will have a couple lol. Really need to get in the garage and start working on some saws. Got a 7-10 that I think might be done and needs to be ran:rock:. Thanks for the B-day wishes.

From the pictures I saw, somebody flew into a mountain and left the bike behind :msp_scared:. Hope your insurance is paid up when you try it :D.

I posted this elsewhere. Don't tell the PP/Pioneer guys. I like them both, but... well.

LOL, no worries here. Just wasnt having a good day as far as feeling like I was one with my bike. Usually I would have no problem with that.

That PP/Partner saw is pretty sweet on its own. But the MC91 is SICK:chainsaw:!

Got this old one going today

Needing to kill a little time I thought I'd go out and start up the old 1-42. I sealed the gas tank a few months ago and decided to see if it would hold fuel. It did so then I decided to see if it would start after having not been started for several years that I know of. It took a few minutes of priming, trying to get the gas up into the carb which had NOT been rebuilt (yet) but she finally kept going. I adjusted the carb a little and now it idles and runs just fine.

Mini MAC 6

Picked up a mini mac 6 today. Fires up cold after 3-5 pulls. Not bad, only thing its missing is half the muffler and spark arrestor screen. Could use an good cleaning too.:msp_thumbsup:

piston for Mac 700

I am looking for a piston and rings for a 700 project. The saw has 600061D and 12-19964 number stamps.

There is one on ebay McCULLOCH 7-10 5-10 PISTON AND RINGS NEW 58239 Any idea if this will fit in the one that I have as an exchange.

my IPL shows you need piston #- 85239 and rings #- 89732. the IPL shows you have the thin ring model. as long as you get the piston and ring for a 7-10 or 700 that has thin rings you will be good. i looked at the auction on ebay and the seller lists the number "58239" but the piston in his picture shows "53726". i'm not so sure about that?

I agree with your concerns. I would say that it is a thin ring by looking at the piston to confirm your IPL. Do you know if it would exchange though since there are rings in that piston auction?

the auction looks to be a thin ring model. i'm not sure if it fits a 70cc Mac saw though. if the seller offers a refund then you may not be taking much of a risk.

Ric, that is the "Roto Pruner" attachment for McCulloch units. The idea was to cut the branches without tearing or splintering the cut. I have seen them in literature with a pole extension so you could reach up in the tree as needed. They were promoted at spining at 6,000 RPM, but with one direct connected to a BP-1 you might be able to double that!
