A few of those McDrone engines have been sold through my local CL over the last couple years. The Sonoma County Airport is nearby, and MANY experimental aircraft and warbird guys reside there....

Hey guys, I just rebuilt a pro Mac 10-10s today and had it running decent.
The problem is that it takes about 3 seconds or more to come back to idle from WOT, does
this sound like an air leak or a carb issue?
Thanks Kevin

It might be both but sounds like a carb adjustment

He DID tell you the right displacement (82cc). The 1200hp@27,000RPM bit is a punch line that Randy has used a few times. We joke around a bit here. Grow a thicker skin, buy that sense of humor that Randy recomended...........and tune up the spelling and punctuation in your posts while you are at it. This isn't text messaging. Even those of us that sometimes post with smartphones (as I am doing now) STILL make an effort to make our posts not sound/look like they were 'texted' by a pre-teen.....

Sorry can't spell if you don't like it don't read it

Thanks Bob, I am sure some of the readers did not believe your creations really did exist.

Mark

Yep Mark from the responces i got when the troops first seen these saws coupled up the way they are i may have been the very first to achieve this setup on a Mac combination

The beauty of it the inboard engine starts the outter engine no harder to start than a single saw.

Same on the two US820's
