The block will go right in. You'll need the 1-40 side cover to match the shroud, though.

Only clearance problem might be the stuffers on the fuel tank backside clearing the crank throws.

Good to know, bout time I cleaned the mini macs off the bench and got to work.

Anybody on here sell on ebay as glennerdog?

Just to bring the guys up to speed...

I've been working with David (broncoRN) on getting him a SP80 and he bought one from glennerdog and had it sent to my house. It was toast, and missing a ton of parts that was not described in the sale. Alot broken as well that wasn't described. It's just a bad situation for David.

The SP80 has a cracked fuel tank, cracked oil tank, scored piston and cylinder, broke in half muffler, missing coil, cracked manual oil pump, stripped threads every where and missing hardware. Yeah, it's bad. It would still need AV mounts and other wearable items to make it operational as well.

That is too bad. Is there any way to bring it back to life? The SP80 was not made very long, but as long as the top cover is ok it is easy to fix the rest. My CP70 was toast but I had a nice PM850 engine laying here and I just made the swap. I will keep my eyes open at the scrap this week, I usually pass on a few yellow 10x saws as I have a pile right now, is there anything particular you will need?

I will see what I have here and what I can get on wednesday. most of what I have is 10-10 but it is hard to discern from the models. I have 1 av bottom with half handle but missing the front av hardware, I may have a oil tank with manual and auto pump, most of my av mounts are worn, I may have a good coil. I will need to see which saw the oil tank is off of as I think the 82cc saws may have had bigger bearings, if not it should work. Is the tank cracked in the top cover or the bottom?

Thanks, the seller won't refund the money to David since he thinks we are lying about all the things wrong with the saw. It's really not worth fixing because it needs piston, cylinder, fuel tank, oil tank, coil, muffler. That's the short list of big items.

Yes the oil tank is different on the 82cc models. The fuel tank is cracked on top. Both tanks could be welded, finished and sanded, painted which I can do for David for no charge since this turd was dropped in his lap and I feel bad for him

It is still a stretch though, I just don't see us finding a good P&C cheap enough to get this one going.

I will attempt to send some pics which may be difficult from this phone

eBay and paypal are heavily biased towards the buyer in official disputes. shipping on these things is ~$25 (ymmv) and he may not refund his shipping costs, either. so you may be out $50 or more just getting your money back... i am hoping I don't have a similar ordeal on a couple of saws I just bought that came in without critical parts.
