Yep. The Yamabond/Suzukibond/Kawasakibond/Hondabond formula that you need is #4 (as in Hondabond-4 or Yamabond-4). That's the match for Threebond 1194. The package that my tube of Hondabond-4 came in has 1194 as part of the Honda part #. Other numbers of Hondabond/etc (such as Hondabond-5) are different products.

Thats some serious bondage right there:laugh:

Has anyone compiled a port timing chart on the reed valve Mac's ..... you know time of opening in degree's after TDC ?

I would like to create a data base if possible as a reference point to see what the differences are between Kart and Saw engines in their port timings
So if you have any even if only one it would help in getting a chart together ............... thanks fellas

McBob.

P.s the chart below is not what i'm after it was this chart or pic that was used by the karting scurtineers to stop cheating

Did anyone else see/bid on an SP105 on e-bay the last couple of days that just disappeared without a trace? I'm sure I put a bid on it, but there is no record in my e-bay summary and no more saw listed anywhere.

Am I going crazy (ier)?

Mark

Mark, I can't comment on your mental state, but there was such a critter and I had to sit on both my hands to keep from bidding (as you may recall bidding on a SP105 is how I ended up with 2 SP125Cs). Anyway, a MAC item I was bidding on recently did just the same - just vanished from my bid list and watch list. Several days later, a message shows up from eBay with the item number and a statement to check bid history if I want to know what had happen. Of course I did; bid history read item no longer available. If there was anything in the listing that said local sale I sure couldn't find it but it was originally listed for less than three days - maybe there is some rule that lets a seller withdraw even with outstanding bids - I don't know. Ron

Never mind...auction ended and I lost. I was watching NCIS and didn't follow as the auction ended......

Does this mean I am not crazy?

Mark

TV has costed me several eBay auctions. If that means you are not crazy then I am with you. Of course you can get led astray with negative reasoning, so the question may still be open for debate. If in doubt appeal to a higher authority - what is Mrs. H's position on the matter? Ron

Well...that issue was settled a few years ago when the big box arrived.

"All right it's official, you are totally crazy..." There is a thread on this somewhere.

Hey mark if you ever come across any mini's you dont want let me know what you want for em... I prefer full saws, I have parts galore!

Shea, send a pm to Mweba (Mitch). He and wendell went through a 5-49 or two this year, and I beleive found a source for a repro carb kit for those saws, the originals are NLA of course.

Keep us posted. I have a locked up 5-49 down in the shed that's a "someday" project myself.

I sent him a PM a few days ago and nothing. Do you a better way to contact him?

Shea

Just asking, but does anyone have a source for a bar on the 5-49 or know what I should be looking for. I believe I know where the bar is that would go with this saw, but due to families, parts, equipment it isn't going to get back where it probably came from. There really isn't any blame to be assigned, just no sharing by the current owner of the bar. Thanks for the help guys.
