LOL, the hell ya say. I agree the cases are pointless, I had 3 and gave them away. Dirty saws now, hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I make good money cleaning dirty saws and repairing them too. Seems the dirty ones break down more often, not from use but from dirt, I like dirty saws cept my own, mine gots to be PRUTY,LOL

Be hard to sell dirty saws mine get dirty but are cleaned periodically
as what Thall mentioned is true dirty air filters and dirty saws in general
are a good sign of poor maintenance.

if they are cleaned it shows up problems sooner...the cleaning keeps you familiar with the saw.

Thall,
You sure got me interested in those comparison pictures.

I kicked the 441/372 decision around for a couple of months before settling on a 441. Saw is definitely "as advertised!"

As far as saw cases go, I do like them. Keeps my saws from rolling around in the back of the truck, nice for throwing on a 4-wheeler rack, can throw a saw in the car/mini van, without worrying about getting oil on the carpet, and keeps my chains from catching/cutting stuff when not in use.
