new gig is indeed a good time. ive sizzled through 3 prussics already and the only saw i am cutting with is a 372, lol. i havent seen my beloved 2hunge in quite some time!

grapple chipper just being fed at a rate i've never seen and the 30yd chiptruck always on the go.

my only complaint? ive only had 2 iced coffees since ive punched in on their clock. lol.

about the pics, the only way that'll happen is if i get a helmet cam or the likes, i dont really have the time to screw around with a handheld. we'll see if i can figure something out though.

Congrats, man. Must say I'm a WEE bit jealous. No gigs like that in my town. You workin' with another climber setting chokers for you or you need one to come on up there. wink wink.

Finally got some decent stuff going on around here. Finally tried the hitch climber out on a job yesterday - with the new saddle. I gotta say it sure seems like alot of FN around, but maybe I just gotta get used to it. Sure is sweet action once finally set up though. The only problem is theres no quick way to get your rope free in order to advance your climbing line with three sections like I do often. It was a quick tree so I cant really say too much yet. I can tell you it took me almost as long to tie and set that thing up as it did to hack down this chestnut oak, lol. My old school buddy was laughing it up real nice. This dude is 48 years old and one of the nastiest treeguys I've ever seen. Dudes a tank. I also got the 23 year old kid that bought my old chipper helping out and climbing some. There is nothing like youth I gotta say, this kids gonna be good thats for certain. We devised a plan to torture this complete piece of crap thats been plaguing me on and off for three years now last week, long brush drag, me up in the bucket trimming this big a$$ white pine hedge, him burying the kid on an ash takedown out back - doesnt matter, it still doesnt work, the kid just starts up the chipper for two branches and hides - or goes for yet another drink of water all the way on the other side of the house all slow and languid like (I was thinking of getting a camel back for him so he can drag and drink, but he'd probably just break it somehow, lol). I'm bustin out the firing hat for the first time this year pretty soon I think. I've seriously never seen such a completly shameless loser before on a job before.....grrrr

ill drag with a sandwich or a snack in one hand but my piles are worthy i love to get out of the tree stack a huge pile and say 'ill show you how to drag" climbing gear, rope, chainsaw and a pile of brush

lol or just stack a bigun and say drag that as you walk passed it to the truck

who am i kidding i spend just as much time doing ground work as i do climbing in a week so it doesnt matter

LOL...good to see your doin good OD..I have to say that you are a pretty good climber. Natrual in the saddle off the ball. Glad you came along for the ride. Keep it up hauss! I still have to look into the "New School" way of climbing..lol. I'm so used to my "old School" way that it seems too much of a hassle to try all the new gear..seems like alot to have on saddle when all iInormally have is lanyard,rope handsaw and sthil 200t..(which btw is running like a raped ape on roids)..thx for the tune up.
