Yes, it's Andy, I was just re-iterating that it's coming across the board, from the smallest to the largest saw, they will all have to meet the EPA standard come 2012, no choice, no option! It has nothing to do with how great or poor of a saw it is. Rest assured, I am not happy about loosing the 200 either!

This site, and the people in the chainsaw forum for sure, are on the pulse of the market, we know things well before the "suits" seem to be informed. I knew about, and asked my dealer about, the 441 six months before it was on the market. He flat told me I was insane, there was no such saw coming, no development on such a saw and it would never be a reality! He asks me a LOT of questions when I come in for parts now!
I don't know if they are just in denial of the EPA act, or really aren't aware of it, but the other Andy, Lakeside (a bona fide Gold Stihl tech), had been preaching about this for years.

Yeah that is true about the pulse just like the climbing/arb forums on all the forums have that pulse..

I just hope they don't stop the parts flow on the big saws. I can make an big saw last forever (see 32 yr old 090) but the climb saws gonna take a swan dive outta a tree every few years for whatever reason.
