While we're callin' dibs on Bob's "forgotten saws".........I call dibs on any "forgotten" Poulan 8500, 4000, 5400, 7700, PP375, PP655BP ('chu didn't say BP mang), PP395, PP455, PP380, PP330, 3000, PP375, PP365......:jester:
Man, would I like to see a picture of his work bench.

Headlines, "A Texas man (Bob) was severly injured in a chainsaw landslide today......."
Bob issued a statement saying "I didn't see it coming, They seemed to come out of no where."
Several people have offered to remove the hazard at no cost to Bob

Sorry, too much wine tonght

Well Tim we've gotta cover our bases. Odds are that Bob doesn't have all the listed saws under his bench.......................................but that he does have at least one of them there.:D

The buzzards haven't left me much Bob, the pickins are gettin slim. :bang::D
Guess I'm left with the 3400's, 3700's, Oh and I see 475's weren't mentioned. lol

I'll take all the the old cast Poulans too. Bow saws, 2-mans etc. I don't know what I would do with them.:help: Maybe use them to entice Dean & Steve to make the trip back north.:)

Oh, and I might as well take the Wildthings and other leftovers too, they need some love too.

Gregg,

Gregg,

Gregg,

I think VULTURES is more appropriate in this case. They have claimed them all, well maybe I can get some bars and chains...

When Bob decides to "release" all of the saws that y'all have been asking for, I volunteer to drive to his location in Texas and collect all of the saws.

One of my more ******* moments: I sold a complete Jonsereds 801 to a member here after his ******** BIL severely damaged his 801 (there's a long thread here). What I didn't realize was I had a 801 parts saw tucked away, and that parts saw might have provided enough parts for him to repair his 801 :msp_huh:.

:ices_rofl: Randy, I see you don't have any 245's, 306's etc. in your lineup. See, there are still some great old saws to choose from.:) I bet those have bars & chains on em too! We didn't get em all!

Gregg,

Sorry I did'nt make it to the GTG (again)...things have just been crazy around here concerning work. The only days I've had off in the last few months have been rain days which I'm actually starting to wish for lol. On a good note my daughter did win the senior home comming queen for our town. This was on the same weekend as the GTG and that weekend belonged to her as far as my family was concerned.

Anyhow I'm sorry I missed it and wish I could've been there to meet some of the guys which I've never met and talk to the ones that I have met. Looks like you had a great turnout again Gregg! I did'nt have much to bring to the table as far as poulans compared to what was there.

BTW that was a noble thing to do giving that 5200 like you did Mark.

Congrats! to your daughter:clap: And to the proud papa.;)
Yep, We missed ya at the GTG. Would have been like old times, at the first one we had, with Steve making the long trek up again this year. It has grown a little maybe, but still the same old diehard Poulan nuts that make it what it is.
Hopefully, there will be another one next fall.

You won't have to twist my arm to come up there!

Model ID

I've been looking at a lot of pics but can't pin this one down. Does anyone know what model this saw might be?

I was looking in acres site in the Poulan section and checking specs on 3700's and the 4000. They have listed max free spin rpm at 8500 and that just seems low to me. I do not have one of these but I am considering looking for one. I know the 395 I have which is very similiar seems like it is capable of much more RPM and still be tuned correctly. Have any of you checked any of these saws and what RPM they are actually capable of. Just curious.
