im pretty sure I got everything in the right order. I saved all the old gaskets and i compared the ones I put it a half dozen times. What is ultrasonic? I sprayed every passage with carb spray I could see several times.
Google Ultrasonic cleaner. I have several but one of them I bought at Harbor Freight and it works very well.
Also check to make sure you not only have the correct gaskets but that you put them in the right order. That is where I always mess up.
If'n I was in St Martin be danged if I'd be checking chainsaw sites, have a great trip.....
I usually dip mine in carb cleaner for about a half hour then dip them in hot water. Also, did you have the H and L screws adjusted correctly?

Lots of good advice so far. I might add, and I speak from experience here,
make sure you have a NEW fuel filter, not just one you THINK is good. Happened to me once.
Make sure the two screws holding the intake manifold is tight!! also. And finally, set the H & L screws exactly ONE full turn out from lightly seated. If everything else is good to go, one of these saws will run set that way, with very little adjustment needed.

If there is spark and fuel its gotta run. The 3400 as many have said is easy to work on and the HDB carb is fairly straightforward. Get those needles 1 turn open and if the gaskets and diaphragms are in the correct order it should start. W/o going back thru the posts is fuel getting to the plug? If not then you have to work from the fuel filter back to the carb. Let us know how you progress.

OK, went back and saw you had saw running but not very well. Did you pressure test the carb? Should hold 7psi. This won't tell you if gaskets etc. are old but if you've rebuilt carb that shouldn't be the issue. It will tell you if you have a leak , however. I also close the Lo and Hi needle and see if it holds pressure. If it does I then slightly depress the metering diaphragm thru the hole on the carb cover. The pressure should drop slighty and then hold. This tells you that the metering side is operating as it should.
took my 375 apart to replace fuel lines and do a general, all-around cleanup and inspection. inspecting the fuel and vent lines. wondering on the vent line is there supposed to be a vent on either end? all mine has is a double sided plastic connector on the end of the line inside the tank. looks like this is supposed to be pulled until the long end of this connector goes up into the hole. seems like there should be some type of vent or screw on the other end to keep the fuel from escaping. the IPL doesn't even show the hole in the tank. the shop manual shows the hole and the vent line but says NOTHING about it. what am i missing?
