Entertainment upgrade is more like it. It is relaxing to watch TV and work on your chain saw on the living room coffee table.
I have actually been doing the exact same thing the last few nights, spending time with family and saws.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you guys. For everyone that have never seen a Tim Allen, there is one on the ebay right now.Btw,who was/is this guy(Tim Allen)?

Geez Tim, If I spent couple hours face down in the snow, I'm afraid it would take more like my full 60 years off my life.

Have a great Thanksgiving Tim! But I guess you guys north of the border already had one! LOL

Gregg,

When face down in the snow, timing is everything.
Our Thanksgiving was the weekend of the Poulan GTG.
I am very envious of Nik as he celebrates both CDN and US occasions.

someone got a Thanksgiving present,

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Poulan friends.[/quote]
Hard to see on my phone but that looks like a 92 but I wasn't sure if they were that color, at least I had not seen one anyway.

I have been looking for one of them for a long time.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh...!!! LOL

Tim Allen had a comedy type TV show, I never really watched it. He was into power tools of all kinds. :D

Yeah, thanks a lot....

It says scored piston but anyway,i didn't suggest to someone to buy the saw, only for reference.

Upon further inspection of the parts diagram for the Tillotson carb on my Poulan 245 (HS 59A), I find there is a "governor valve" in that carb. Now I'm confused - I had found the idle adjustment screw was missing and found a replacement off a Walbro carb that actually fit and threaded in easily, but now I'm wondering if the idle speed is controlled by the "governor valve" since the Tillotson IPL shows no idle screw even though there was a threaded hole for one.
This is the first Tillotson carb I've rebuilt and I'm not sure what the "governor valve" does. Don't most governors control top end speed, or am I thinking of another sort of governor?
Any help would be appreciated.
