Thank you, I never thought they would still be available. Feels like christmas. If it's 530019029, quad ring, Poulan claims to have it in stock for less than $3

Just so you know Jerry, many suppliers claim to have stock they don't have. I think it's a good idea to call them and talk to a real person before you order.
i saved a few mounts for this day if i ever needed some. I have the isolators covered this time. Thanks for the tip though.Find that thread that Brad started on using the Husky mounts. He rethreaded the mounts and made it work much cheaper.

The Walbro corp. is here in my home town. My uncle was a engineer, My ex-FIL also. And I know a couple guys that work in the R&D department. If you don`t get what you want let me know. Maybe I can help.I sent a email to the folks at Walbro today about help making a HDA-164 a useable carb. I got a reply in short order with a phone number to the fella as well. I called him and had a short discussion about the troubles with them.
He sounded surprised at my comments about the problems and said he didn't know for sure but would talk to some others more involved with them and call me back personally.
We will see I guess...

That looks like my saw but it's wearing Craftsman gray, my top also was Sun faded but I painted it in satin black, also repainted the saw while I had it torn apart.

Good to hear on the 164 call Mark, hopefully some good will come from it.
Here is the 2800 I just finished. Got it dirty and a bit sunfaded, but I read about a trick to fix that. Took it down completely, cleaned it up, all the shock mounts are good and solid, p/c look just fine as did the rest of the saw. Replaced the pulse line (which was gone! lucky there) with some black stihl hose. New vent and fuel line and filter. Ultrasonicked and rebuilt the HDA new intake gasket and a fresh CJ6 plug. I have a 20'' b/c off a 335 for now, but will swap to a 16" soon, might try for an NOS one on the bay. I like these saws a lot. Just have to find a 3450, 3750 and SP 380 now.
