Since we are looking at PP 300 series saws, I will post this.

Twins except one in green and one in gold.

PP 365 complete
Got this ne on ebay a couple months ago. Dirty, great compression, perfect p/c. Finally got to it tore it down, cleaned and checked it out. rebuilt the HDA 49, new lines, pulse, fuel and vent; filters, plug. The 3/8" rim was in good shape so it stayed. I think this saw was parked due to a severly clogged fuel inlet tube in the carb. even after a few cyles in the USC i still had to bore it out.
Put the b/c off a PP330 for testing. Runs very strong and tears your fingers pulling it over.

One of my absolute favorites of that series!!!

This is my first 60cc on this platform. I bet this saw wins for my highest compression poulan too, it def needs that HD dual pawl starter. Up until a couple years ago, I didn't even know Poulan had made a 60cc saw like this. I cleaned it up good, but I intend on using this one. For power to weight it's hard to beat these. I'm sure a 3.7 has more grunt, it's just a "bigger" saw in every way but I'd like to run this against some of my newer orange saws in that class....

I picked this up for my grandson a while ago for his birthday present. He's turning two this April and loves to watch chainsaw videos.
He says he wants a Lellow Poulan chainsaw for his birthday. it's small so it shouldn't be too dangerous. I'm not sure how many cc but it's light.
Runs great, no work required. I think I'll leave the safety chain on it for now.

Hey guys. Chiming in. New here. Been lurking for a little while joined AS simply for this thread. Love the info and all the help everyone gives. Figured I should share some pics. All my saws are runners. They all get put into the rotation for firewood duty. Like them all for one reason or another, but if I had to pick one and only one it would be my 330. uploadfromtaptalk1395628517166.jpguploadfromtaptalk1395628532812.jpg

Very cool. I cannot blame you on the 330. It has the larger carb and intake boot. Makes them a strong runner.

The 380 clone I built is right up there, the 330 surprises alot of Stihl lovers, lot of people who "know" saws never consider poulan having anything decent. A lot of hidden gems im they're lineage IMHO. Often over looked, makes them a good deal.

You know it's good...we here know it's good. Stop telling everybody else how good they are. Gonna make'em harder for us to get our grubby lil hands on for the cheap!:buttkick: ;)
