I am burning next years wood and school is closed again today, got another 6" yesterday

I have about 1 full cord of wood left, need to bring some in this weekend or Monday. Temps here are suppose to be edging upward over the weekend, and (almost afraid to say it, for fear of jinxing it" into the 50's. YeeHaw!!!!
Gonna be one hell of a sloppy mess for awhile, but I'll take it.

Gregg,

Here are a few pics I took this week. Unfortunately not saw pics....:cold:
I leave a spot to get the wood trailer up to the house. Toss wood in one of them lower windows there.

I can see there is still a mailbox down there. Had to fix that 3 times this winter.

Gonna be a couple days yet, till I can get to the pool....

Did I say I was sick of this winter yet?

Gregg,

I feel for you all getting hit with all this snow.
I actually have some good cutting weather but it's a little tough when I'm working 60 hours a week and only one day off! Off season will be here in April though and then it's 9-5 M-F:)

I think we got another 1/4" of rain again yesterday. They say this weekend nice weather and 60+° before we get more rain all next week. Was 64° yesterday morning before temp dropped to 32° last night.

Sent from my Prism II from T-Mobile, Steve

Well I just came in from messing with the saw some more. I let it get warmed up and messed with all the screws.
I think I had the idle screw in too much and actually instead of turning the L screw out, I turned it in and it idled down real nice and just inside of one full turn.
It idles well and throttles up good now and won't die. I think it's good to go but I'm still a little nervous about a small air leak somewhere. Seems fine though I just need to get it into some wood I think.

If your still worried about a air leak, you can spray some carb cleaner around the reed valve adapter, (just dribble it lightly, don't let it get sucked into the carb throat) and around the back of the sprocket and behind the flywheel while the saw is running.

If there is a vacuum leak it will draw the carb cleaner in and kill the saw.

Thanks I'll probably do that to be on the safe side but I think I'm in the clear hopefully. Thanks for the help everyone, great bunch of guys here and happy to be part of the group!

Gregg,

Your view is about like mine.

My cheap camera dont take nice pics though.

I am still on a temp mailbox where a kid and his mustang couldnt handle the snow ice mix one day. Just glad when he came across the road another car wasnt coming.

We got bluebird and tree swallow nesting boxes down the lane.

"Gonna be a couple days yet, till I can get to the pool...."

To open it up for ice skating?

That's a lot of snow.o_O

That's Gregg's way of saying he's in the Polar Bear club. Chop a hole and go for a dip. Pulls the wrinkles out of everything. Makes some things disappear for a while as well.

Gregg,
Sounds like we are in the same boat Gregg. I have about a cord left and the weather report sounds like ours

Anyone know if the PP 380 crank and a PP365 crank are the same? Reason I ask is I used a 365 case with crank to reassemble my 380. However the 380 three leg clutch won't screw onto the shaft. Seems to have different threads. I know the two clutches for the saws have diff. Part numbers. If they are diff. I will have to get a 365 clutch.
