I don't have a 365 (darn) but looking stuff up, it is supposed to have a Walbro HDA 49. Check the carb to make sure that's whats on it.

Full kit would be a K22 HDA

Gaskets and diaphragms only would be D22 HDA
Thanks! Really excited to see this thing finally run. I don't know if I need a full kit but guess it wouldn't hurt. I'll probably replace all the fuel lines too along with the filters

Cleaned up the Craftsman a bit last night, removed a bunch of carbon and rust from inside the muffler. Pretty clean saw. I think one of the AV mounts might be shot cause the handle moves more than my other saws. Gonna need new fuel lines too, it's kinda rigged weird and I think its leaking air because it will start on choke and race for a few seconds and then shut off. Somebody also put a screw in the spot where the vent line is supposed to go so I'll have to fix that too. Other than that all looks pretty darn good. It's a 1982 model from the date under the plastics.

That's a nice score, fixing up one myself. How do you tell the year?

I'm fixing up a thin ring 3.7 for torque, have the compression up to 166PSI and was wondering how much of an improvement is there by widening the E/P to 60%. Thin rings over time won't hold their tension like thick rings
and I don't want to jeopardize this by widening the E/P by a few MMs.

Anywhere from $50.00 to $500.00 put her in the trading post and watch

Unfortunetly I've found the Trading Post to be more of a gossip area than sales. Lot of comments but very little buying interest, unless its a Stihl. Also feel many asking prices are very high.

Well I picked up some gloss Lime Green Green today likt jj showed me so I'm going to give it a try this weekend and see how this 3400 turns out.
Let us see the results. My experience has been that many "lime green" colors are too bright. Best bet is the Mopar sublime green.

I'm looking to sell my old friend, One owner I bought this saw new in 1982, Would any one have an idea what it might be worth?
What would you be willing to sell it for? I'm thinking of doing a BBK for my Makita but if I can find a reasonably priced large cc saw I'll keep the Makita as is and sell the PP 365. May be cutting logs up to 40" so I need more power.

Yup, sure looks that way. Lots of people commenting about the saw and the "great price" but little serious inquiries. Stihl prices are insane! I could buy two Makitas and slap on BBKs for the price of one fancy Stihl

Most of us on AS GET saws on the cheap broke and fix them. We don't consider our time an expense so when saws are running and fixed with new parts on them the prices seem high. I agree the cream sickle saws bring good money. Why I sell all of them I acquire.

Even the larger cc rough looking saws command steep prices. If you ever sell larger cc Poulans or Husqvarna's, please let me know. I may need something larger soon to cut large logs.
