Two piece hose with 4 different threaded connectors for various spark plug holes. There is a quick connect coupler. Somewhere it leaks. Going to see if Mattco will repair it. My son buys a lot of their stuff.

Dont feel bad, I went to use my Snap On tester the other day and its a POS too. Won't hold pressure. Used a cheap harbor freight tester that still works like new. Go figure

Here's mine, never had any problems with it.

Dont pay those crazy prices IMHO. I dont run this series anymore and can pull one from a saw that has just been sitting. Worked when set on shelf. Who knows now.

Im cool i have at least 6 bad ones to try to get it down on rebuilding them.the last one i did it oils so good it over oils....before the gas is even gone....i did not put the lil screen back on it....its all trial and error i actually enjoy trying to tinker with stuff and make it work right....I have to say its sad they make so many parts nla....alot of the old saws were made so well that if we had the ability to buy new parts we could still use these great old saws more ....I like to pull out my s25da that i put a stack muffler on if were camping with people.....i fire it up people stop what they are doing LOL......love the sound it makes at idle like an old dirt bike pop pop pop....

The Schrader valves used in a compression tester are not the same as the valves used in tires or A/C fills. Buy some from the manufacturer of the gauge and you should be all set.

My local guy had a carb kit , fuel line and plug $15 . Carb had a small amount of leftover oil still in it but was spray clean and go . Inside the covers it was covered with oily sawdust . Tank had atf in it . Might have an oiler issue ? Wont know till I cut some . Fired right up and seemed happy. Was nice to be the first tools on a saw for a change.

thats a clean one! nice very nice.... tip it to the side with clutch cover off... if oil pours or drips out the line is broken...or look inside with a light if she is empty....atf think some folks use it to clean the oil systems you may be right.....Very Nice looking Lil saw any ways.....
