Well I guess the value of my xl923 just went up!
Is the 923 a thin ring 190lb compression saw like a 925? I thought the others were thick ring and a bit more mild, but I could be wrong.

The XL 925 is also 82cc and I think technically out of the 5 cube class. Want to try your Homie against a 5200? its only 3cc bigger while the 925 is 5cc bigger then a 4900.

May have found a fitting for my 5200, it fits a Pioneer P40-P41. I messaged the guy for the thread size and od of the nipples. Thought of making my own but if this one will work out, I'll be good to go on that.

That's an old (saw?). What am I saying, dad has an old two man saw they used cutting trees to make pastures on the farm way back til they bought a chainsaw. I think he said it was a Pioneer.

I have no idea what you are saying. 58 year old saw isn't old? Let me be the first to tell you that there are a lot of 2 man saws out there that are not 58 years old. So I really don't know what your trying to say...

I haven't been around a saw that old, and I can't count the old blue sxl12 that dad had. The oldest saw I have been around is the two man he ran when he was living back home in his teens, he's 82 now.
