How is the 5400 coming...i need to see pics soon. Used the 440 all day yesterday....awesome.

The 5400 is doing quite nicely on a shelf in MY shop, got too many other saws to work on before I can get to that one. Nice bunch of Poulans you got, the little top handle will surprise the snot out of you when they are right.

I hope so. I asked about the P&C which he said was in fine shape. Also said he replaced decomp which he said was leaking as comp was 120. Hope he's honest. His feedback seemed to indicate he was honest so lets hope so. Thanks
Bob

I hope it works out for you also, I just got a bad feeling on that one.

So what does it mean if it doesn't say BP on the air cleaner box?

Steve, it is my understanding that BP stands for "boost port". I was told they added another intake port and that increased the power a good deal for 100cc's. I may have been mislead but that is what I was told.

I recently acquired a Poulan Weed Eater engine.
I went through the engine and carb.
Now I need the little splined carb screw adjusting tool.
Where can I get one?
Why did they put the splined screws and not regular screws?
:bang::bang::angry:

I went to my Mom's house and borrowed my Dad's Dremel tool
I cut my own screw slots and now my weed-eater engine with a MM is running great.
It is amazing how much of a difference a MM can make.
WOW, very anemic before but now... WOW.....

Thats what I thought also but I got it from a couple of very experianced guys that the Boost Ports really don't show all that much of a increase, not really that noticeable.

Nice score Cliff. PM me if you want to sell that S25 sine the last 2 I got were toast.

Will do Joe,,,,what is the difference between a s25 and the other one?

The S25DA has the bigger 38cc engine (the one I have been failing to find:censored:). The 25DA is 34ccs I believe. Both of yours are auto oilers tho and thats nice.

I pulled the starter off the super I was worried it was locked up....nope just a ton of dirt dobber nest in there.

Anyone have some experience with a 33 super. I am thinking of a full restoration of the one I just got. Its mostly complete and I think it wont take much.

I would like to see some pictures of some that you guys have done or have.
