I have found the part number for the double barb fitting you use on the end of the air vent for the 3400-4000 and the other poulan saws. 530023877 and it's found on the end of the 2150 line for the primer bulb. It is a direct replacement for the 3400 series, I just used one and it's right.

I took the latest 4200 down today. Changed out the electronic module and now have spark. Pulled the jug to see how bad it was scored and found it not to be too bad. Cyl cleaned right up and the piston could be as well but I think I will just put a new piston and rings in it. I think I'll go ahead and put seals in it and do the fuel system and it should be a nice one.

Yeah I really need another 4200! :ices_rofl:

Start thinking what you guys got to trade for it!

So, do you now own them? :D
Na.... 70. was to steep for those two junks. The 4000 wont run unless you put fuel in the carb and the lil one needs the chain tightened...sheesh. :D

lol, the big one just needs a fuel line,... go figger. Came off in my hand as soon as I touched it, broke off the carb and off the filter too...this ethanol fuel suks.
:mad2:

Reviewing yer fuel line "sticky" now MM. :msp_thumbsup:.

Good deal!

Glad you got them and that it was worth my time to post the fuel line how to!

Yeah Gregg,

I'll bet the front end of your tractor will get pretty light before you mangle that one!!!
That cultivator hitch should be all you'll ever need.

Mike

Funny you say that Mike!! LOL Its a good thing tractors have independent rear brakes. The one log I was moving around had the front wheels dancing & skating a little, had to turn with the help of a little brake. But, the sucker didn't bend either..;)

Gregg,

I finally got around to putting the new NOS 36" .404 bar on the full wrap 5200.

Gregg,

Gregg,
Old green saws make me slobber too. Mark had me so hungry for a bigger Poulan that I started on a cold trail and come up with an old Serbian guy who says he has a green and black Poualn with a 26" bar. He said the numbers are worn off but the seriel number ends in 8500-3. Boy I am really hoping but he lives 150 miles away and I won't know until I get my oldest boy to go pick it up in a few weeks.
Can any on tell me how I can tell an 8500? Man, I have it bad, don't I?

Al

Don't know about their serial numbers, but they are a good looking mix of green & black! LOL Hope it turns out to be one, and you can get it. Heres a not so good pic of one. There are a couple members here who have them, and can post a better pic.
