Yes, Being that close, I might have considered packing some heat with me if out in the woods cutting.:)lol
I kinda figured they wouldn't stray to far from the area, at least for a while. That being where they got fed, and know where the food is.:) Kinda like me...I don't stray to far from the dinner table at certain times of the day.

Gregg,

Been wanting to ask you.Is Jenera up by Akron?Sounds like the place an old GFs Mother lived? If so I have been there a few times.

Computer problems

Anyone have any ideas why I can't post on the site with my Pc? I can put info into the title but nothing in the body of the message. I have to use my smart phone to post anything. Any PC help is appreciated.
Bob

Been all kinds of issues with the site lately. Haven't been able to post or edit with my phone many times. Also have gotten the "the server is too busy at the moment, try back later" message many times, even at 1:00AM pacific time. Not many people other than the OZ contingent on the board at that time. Maybe the server is also used by some on-line #### or poker site.....

Gregg,

Ebay ?

So I've got the bug bad and have found a few saws on ebay. Is it alright to ask if anyone has bought a saw from a certain ebay store, I don't want to break any forum rules.

Thanks Scott

Well boys I went to my shop to pick up a drum for my cousins s25 and my dealer says "I have4 Poulan 25s for you" long story short they are in the bed of the truck now. 3 possible runners 1 parts saw. Pics later.

4 25s

Here they are boys. Nothing too special, heres the rundown. left to right:
Craftsman 2.3-no spark, low compression, Blown P/C. Good for parts if anyone wants it.
VERY nice 25 Deluxe auto oiler-Good spark, compression, new bar and chain, and upgraded 3/8" drum. It might have even have more new parts! Low hour for sure. I did wipe this one down, had to see how Good it looked.
2 S25DAs, both very good compression, no spark, both missing clutch assemblies, one missing clutch cover, mufflers both pretty rusted out. One newer, straight handle, the other curved. I also took a picture of my other 25 next to the new one. As you can see, the newest edition has the lighter, pea soup green paint and red trigger and switch. The other has black controls, lime paint, a later model.
Also check outh the engraving on one of them!

Joe, congratulations. A whole litter!
Gregg said the same happened to him when he left two fully fueled 4000,s sitting too close together one warm Spring night.
Boy, if I ever got that lucky it would be some of my old Macs getting at it and I would get a litter of mini-macs. :msp_biggrin:

Isn't that funny? Barry (my shop dealer) told me this Jim is a real character. I guess he was talking to barry and was gonna junk those 3 (the 25 auto Barry got from a customer who never came back). Barry told him I'd take them. If any one is looking for a 25 parts project saw pm me

Craftsman 358.356091

Sorry for all the newbe questions , but I like to research things,I think that is the fun part of the hobbie also.

The question I have is that I thought the Craftsman 358.356091 is a poulan 3800. I believe I saw a picture posted of one by a member on here that was grey and black and stated that it was a 3800. But I have seen other comments that they are a 3700. I am not doughting anyone I'm just tring to figure witch one it is.

I tried to acces the Poulan privat label link that I found in the Poulan group, but it wount download for me ,I don't know if it because I'm on dial-up( I live in the boonies) or my computer.

Thanks Scott
