This thing is unreal, near NOS. Look at the wear on the original sprocket.

You suck. I LOVE THAT SAW.
You got it out of me......That saw is my short list.

I almost have the same thing here in parts but I'm just looking for the rest of the saw.
So far I have.... a top cover... lol:rock:

I'm flummoxed, flabbergasted, and fit to be tied after seeing that 5200......but I can compose myself enough to say that Mark sucks:msp_wink:

seriously great find.

It's amazing how clean that saw is. A guy just shipped me a 3400 that looked like it had just put up his firewood for the season. Is there know self respect?

All I can say is WOW!!! Mark. And like a few others have said....You suck!

What fun is that gonna be, gettin it ready to go? No parts to wash, no dirt, petrified wood chips & bar oil to dig and wash out of every nook & cranny. No parts need replacing, paint, decals...nothing! LOL

Thats the best find you have come up with to date, in my opinion. I guess we can still have hope, that they are still out there..somewhere.:)

Gregg,

Just so I understand correctly you mean you replaced the base gasket with Motoseal. Also I have s25da coming that I will be tearing down and I have never been into one before so any problems I should look out for before dis-assembly?

Not really except for the age of them, which means fuel lines and filter, carb kit and air filter should all be replaced. Most of these saws I've seen still have good compression unless they've had a careless owner who straight gassed them or used a mixture of 80:1 or something like that. It's a solid design, built to last. I'm getting ready to rebuild a Dayton version of the same saw when the weather cooperates, which probably means April or May.

Gregg,

I don't know how I would act if I received a saw that was actually clean! Generally that's the first thing I have to do when I get one. Nice saw, Mark!
