anyone figure this out?
Soooo has anyone figured out how to rebuild the oil check valve in the micro styla saws???? the part number is 530069142 but they are like all NLA..... i pulled one apart today but destroyed the screen that goes over it ya all know what duck bill would fit in there and if a carb screen could be trimmed and stuck in there to hold her in place?

thats an old one...
all the new ones ive seen have a slotted screw driver instead of the nut thats an older version.... where ya finding them at mark??

somebody markered 505 315 550 on the side of it, however i can't seem to find anything about it and don't recognize it. it gets mixed around with 505 315 470, but still can't get any description about it:msp_wink:

Would you keep an eye out for a red Craftsman version of a S25-CVA for me? Should be a Craftsman 2.3VL or 2.3PS/VL. I'd greatly appreciate it.

I was just rubbing it in to the others, but no worry, I plan on figuring out a way to rebuld the originals. Got a few ideas floating around in my head, but at this moment that project is not priority.

Wish I could help on the filter but I would be just guessing. I would want to say Partner or maybe Jonsereds......

That filter is reminiscent of a lot of Partner filters, but I don't recognise it - maybe an R30?

It's a partner number. 315-475 would be a P-55/R-16 which is what it looks like to me.
I think Al's right, it's an R-30.

I actually have a red Craftsman 25 but it isn't a CVA. It's a 2.1, but I will be on the lookout.

I found a guy that had 2 brand new lil oil valve kits for the micros i need 3 but i will take the last 2 he had hahahahah!!!! never give up!!!! i made 20 calls LOL

Here's the other side of it. I think long ago it had a decal on the clutch cover but believe it or not the saw used to get used a lot, guess it wore off. It hasn't been repainted.

When I come back from the sales I'll post a pic of what I found. You never know what they're gonna have but lots of times it's saws that need a little work done to 'em. That's actually what I like the best because they're cheaper that way.
