I had one of those sometime back that someone did just that to it. I wondered who the fool was that done that to it and marvelled at the thought of them not realiseing that they defeated the air filter completely when they did it.

No offense, but think about it .

I already chastised them for that idea...

Poulan Pro 505 parts

Does anyone have a couple bar covers for these? I know someone who needs 2 for his saws. Also, is the Craftsman 415 the same saw? I did a search with the obsolete Poulan number, and came up with a Sears page, with that number (506093101), and it is supposed to be still available, and, in stock. If they're the same, that'd be the way to go.........

Good Luck with that!
I've been looking for over a year and haven't had any luck yet.
You MIGHT be able to find one for the Jonsered if color isn't a big issue.
The last one I saw sell on eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-bay i seem to remember was like 56.00 after shipping and it wasn't all that great!

I just think Sears hasnt updated its parts available. If you run that part number in search it is a discontinued everywhere else.

Try and order 2 from sears and see if you can get them for $18 apiece. Be sure to let us know because I would like to set a couple more back too.

Here's the other vid I made this morning. Same wood, just round and a hair over 16". If any of y'all that was at my last GTG remember the seriously dense oak that was stacked up at the wood line, this is it, or what's left of it.

And mike was right about the oiler in the first vid. Took a while to get her pumpin. I was pumpin in this vid too, but only because I had a button and I could. Lol.

I just called Sears and had them run the number. He checked the inventory and said that they were supposed to have 400 left....so I ordered 2. We'll see.......

My children are in the room. Is this one safe to watch?
