Can anyone tell me where I can purchase parts for the Poulan Pro 4218AVX. I would prefer to purchase all parts from an AS member. Please PM me with any recommendations. If this is a violation of AS rules, please delete the post and forgive me. Please understand that it is not my intent to get myself or anyone into trouble!! Thanks, Islero

That isn't a rare saw so parts should be available. Some of us don't usually sell parts to other members but I imagine there are some takers here. No violation of rules that I can see but usually they post sales in the classified section of AS. Ebay is where I usually go to get used parts but you take your chances...

a. palmer jr., I have attempted to purchase the parts on Ebay, no luck. I have also just finished posting my request on the classified section of AS. Thanks, Islero

If your wanting used parts, site sponsor Chainsawr.com would be a good place to look. Most any Outdoor Power Equipment dealer, like ones that sell mower parts etc. also might be able to order New stuff. You can always order yourself through Poulan. Then there is always eeeebay, or other members here who might have a similar saw, to donate parts from. I myself don't have any saws along those lines, so I ain't much help.

In some cases it might be easier to just get a parts saw if you need very many parts. Also, have you tried Chainsawr.com? I've bought several parts from them. If you know the Craftsman equivalent you can always order parts from Sears parts direct.

Gregg,

Gregg, what I am currently looking for is a couple of screws for the oil pump. As far as I know I have all the parts to rebuild my saw, I simply misplaced the screws. Thanks for your response, Islero

Depending on what parts you're needing and their cost, you might do well to look for a non-running parts saw. If asthestic appeal isn't important, the relabelled Craftsman versions are fairly common.
