Dont worry there old buddy, I will probably be bringing the Super Duty and I'll bring a chain along. If those old saws wont crank we can pull start em!

That "ugly bastard" of his looks like somebody already "pull started" it. :hmm3grin2orange: Don't run half shabby though.

Couple years ago, some of us that allways liked the green, American made saws from Shreveport, La. decided to try and Get-Together and run them, with other like minded folks. Most GTG's are dominated by modern saws such as Sthil, Husky, Dolmar etc.
But, you would rarely see an old Poulan, unless one of us brought it. LOL

So we decided to have our own GTG, dominated by the Green saws. Other makes aren't disalowed. But Poulans are the main focus. We have been getting together here at my place in north west Ohio. Zip code is 45841. If ya want to look it up on a map. Need directions? PM me, and will let you know the specifics. All these old Poulan guys are a great bunch! Thats for sure.:msp_thumbsup: It is saturday, Oct. 13th.

Gregg,

Thanks Gregg. Sounds like a real good time.

Homelitejim, I really enjoy your posts, especially those with videos.

That said, the deals that you're finding lead me to say: You suck! :D

At the Poulan GTG, y'all please be sure to take & post plenty of vids. At least that way those of us who can't be there can enjoy hearing & seeing the saws throwing some chips.

I could not find a pic of one with a muffler cover like this

TWO CHAIN SAWS $100

The crankcase is essentially a Poulan 2000. You can tell displacement from the decal that shows both 2.0 c.i. and 33 cc's. That style clutch cover w/brake shows up on a number of saws including a Husky 23C and Poulan Pro S23 Arbor Pro.

Can someone tell me the model number of the PP equal to the S25CVA? For the life of me I can't recall, I'm getting a good dose of CRS.......

I don't think there was a PP version of the S25-CVA (I could be wrong. There's always a good chance of that). Closest would be the PP S25AV, which has a different AV setup than an S25-CVA. Also has the full length clutch cover, a bar stud with nut (instead of the cap screw), and has different part numbers for the piston, cylinder, and rings.

I'm glad you couldnt remember because there is no Poulan Pro S25CVA. There is a Poulan Pro S25AV though and that is the one I just got. There is also a Poulan Pro S25

Edit

Aaron beat me to the enter key. LOL
