Hasn't Sweden already given up to Germany a couple of times?

I believe you mean France.

According to recent news reports, France also tried to surrender to Britian as well in the 50's but Britian said no. :hmm3grin2orange:

You got it, but you need to change your signature...

"Don't worry Sweden, you still make the best blonds":hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:Hey Manual, are you Blond? Apologies in advance if so..

...and sewing machines!:hmm3grin2orange:

Gary

No I'm not Blonde, But I have my daze.
Husky has built many Quality products and still will continue to do so.
Also has been around way longer then Stihl.
Huskys guns are sought after world wide and the value is top dollar.
there Motor cycles won many races, There sewing Machines are also tops.

It's interesting what they are doing in the outdoor product line.
As far as whos the best. Well I live that to other threads. :)

I have a Husqvarna rifle, made in 1966... AWESOME gun. (Only Husqvarna I will ever own! )

Their sewing machines are top notch as well.

Their dirt bikes are junk... always have been (IMO).

Dosen't matter.......Internet, ebay, box store, pawn shop, yard sale, dealer, auction, ........ still buying a Husky or a Dolmar.....NOT a Stihl:cheers:

I'm tired of the Dolmar bashing. If you are worried about dealer support.....buy 2 saws ...1 for cutting....1 for parts cannibalization. Its only money and you can't take it with you!;) Stop analyzing and make a move.

If their saws are so great why in the hell would you have to buy an extra saw for "parts canibalization"... that's friggin' ridiculous. But I know... Stihl sucks where you are from.

I have said it many times over... I guess i am lucky to have a dealer that supports local loggers. I don't have to explain what a dual-port muffler is. Bars up to 36" are in stock with the chains that fit them. They can perform "woods porting" for the pro timber fallers (or saw racer).

Must be a crappy deal for you... but then again, I am spoiled.;)

Gary

That is pretty cool to be able to get a saw ported right at the dealers.I like 1 stop shopping. One of my locals is still under the impression that a dual port muffler hurts performance...:deadhorse: Ya he is a smart one.

Wish I wasn't getting that "you have given out to much reputation in the last 24 hours" right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm.... Guess I missed that part of the thread. Didn't see where anybody was "bashing" Dolmar. I'd be willing to try one again if they had a dealer that was closer than an hour's drive.

Husky really needs this new internet policy to keep the local dealers from dropping their line both from a profit standpoint and from a servicing standpoint A local dealer just can't compete with Bailey's and other online retailers from a price point at all. The difference is too big to overcome with great service and in stock parts. And I agree about why Northern is being allowed to keep them online....it's gotta be because they sell at or very close to power price. I think the average customer doesn't realize that most of the profit made on a chainsaw is to the manufacturer and very little to the dealer. We don't mark up our prices, but we sure can't afford to discount the way online retailers do

last thing....to comment on servicing saws from lowe's and sears. we service them but saws we sold get priority first.
