Joe let me know if you don't find one, I know a guy who has some new ones but there the plastic ones.

I kinda like them anyway, there wider so they won't clog up as bad and there already green.

The plastic ones will take a LOT more abuse than the "pot metal" ones believe it or not.

Plastic vs metal

All the air cleaner covers I've ever seen were plastic. I could be wrong on this, but all the clutch covers on the Craftsman versions I have seen were plastic, and the Poulan versions were metal, up untill late in there run. Then plastic on both.
I bought one of those new plastic green ones a year or so ago that Mark mentioned. Was saving it for a back up. Then needed it for the 4000 that I painted blue.:dizzy: LOL

Gregg,

I have 2 super 25DA's and a craftsman 3.7 that im fixing up
this one is done

I have 4super 25s, 2 are the last year made, a 4200 and a 5200. In 1980 I bought a new 245 the 4200 was a better saw. the 4200/5200 were Husqvrna saws. It was slow moving but a horse. I never let anyone use it, and maybe have run 10 tanks of gas through it. It was a classic when I bought it new. I worked for a Pouland Dist. Had a saw shop and a John Deere dealership and a tree service..The super 25 was the best saw ever made. I have 2 I got new in 1980 used everyday in tree service, maybe put 2 pulgs in them. I used my 4200 in tree service until last summer 32 years. Replaced fuel lines and muffler.

Nice bunch of saws! Like Chainsawwhisperer said, there is a thread dedicated to Poulan saws located in the "stickies" section. Lots of good smart fellas in there. By the way, The 4200 & 5200 were NOT Husqvarna saws. 100% Poulan designed and made in Shreveport La. USA

Within a couple of weeks I had picked up some older ones:

This is the one that started it all in 1979:

Been concentrating on the big CC saws like this one recently.

I seen this old thread about a 375 Poulan Pro. I have one since new for 25+ years and now starting to put parts into it and having a hard time getting them. Any advice on where to get obsolete parts or maybe another 375.

Impressive bunch of saw in the photo. Any input on where to get parts for 475 Poulan and or do you have a 475?
