Has anyone been running one of these? Just curious how you like it?

I heard a lot of good things from the reps and it has fancy things said about it in the brochure, but just curious if anyone is actually running one?

Good saw! I've had mine for about 7-8mos. now and really like it more and more all the time. I run a 20 and 28 bar on it and it pulls both nicely. Easy on fuel too.

I may be selling mine soon because I now have a 660 and the 441 doesn't see much use.

i bought mine brand new in march

and love it
skiptooth on that thing and it's a beast all around
i mostly run a 20" arbor pro with full skip
bought it with a 25" and full comp - but that b&c
combo is mostly used for cutting hackberry out of
chain link and fence rows, which i seem to do a lot of
here in texas

Use it primarily for a felling saw at the moment. Have done some limbing and bucking with it, but it is so fast, it takes a little of the fun out of bucking big trees.

Seems to be pretty decent on fuel. I haven't really had a chance to "work" the saw yet. The largest tree I have used it on was only 27" DBH. Didn't slow it down at all.

It's a nice saw.

Search 441 at the top of the Arboristsite page, and you'll have more reading than you know what to do with.

Overall everyone has given it a thumbs up.

Runs really well with a 460.

It seems a little more forgiving in the powerband than the 460 and plenty of torque. I run a 25" b/c on mine. Smoother than the 460, better anti-vib, better fuel, and very close in speed. Quick start in either cold or hot mode but can be a little finicky starting in the pseudo-warm mode.

The 441 is higher quality I think than my 7900's... but its hard to pass on the 7900 which is lighter and almost a full hp stronger.

On the money, good post. The 441 is exactly as you described. I own both too and the 7900 for its weight is awesome power.

Tom.............looks like the 441 is resurrected.......threadwise!!!

Where is your son???

441 has never been dead Rich, just took awhile to make its mark. Has turned out to be a pretty good saw.

My boy is in the AS jail. Gonna have a long talk with that boy after he pulls his time,LOL

The 441 is a great saw that I am glad to have. ust ask River Rat 2 how nice it is. I let him run it and I had to hit him upside the head to get it back from him.

Almost too quiet and too smooth....Now that mine is broken in good,no doubt it out cuts the 440...It kicks the **** out of the 575.

I for one, am just happy that we are finally going to comment on the 441!!

Interested to hear echoes on the finicky starting.

Here in CO, it has been between 75-90 degrees.

First time I ran the saw, cold start, full choke, one pull. Made some cuts to check the oiler adjustment and turned it off. Total run time of maybe 3 minutes. Two pulls no choke, nothing. Two pulls have choke, nothing. Back to no choke and I could smell fuel, flooded.

If this thing has been running at all, no choke and first pull 99% of the time.

Super smooth, almost makes me sad I got my 440 when I did. Nice saw, no doubt.
