No opinion, as I have never used one, just ruled it out in favour of the 372xp, because of the weight issue - and the long standing acclamation for the 372.....:rockn: :rockn:

Btw, the 441 is much cheaper than the 372, here.....:D :D

Back on topic....
I bought a 441 on Saturday and cut a little with it. Nice, nice saw. Starts easy, very smooth in the cut. Anti-vibration system is great. A little bit heavy, but it isn't a saw I will use to limb trees with. The big test will come tomorrow when I get to cut up some real big oak logs. So far I am impressed with the 441.

You should really like the 441!!!!!

I ran Just Mow's @ an open house with a 20" bar and was very impressed but we were just cutting cookies,,,,,

They are very nice saws I have set up about 8-10 of them in the last month,,, all with either 24 or 28" bars,,,oh and actually 0ne more yesterday,,,,And this weekend had one prevoius customer that bought one a couple of months ago who came back to the shop to buy a string trimmer for his wife (smart man),,,, and to get some of his chains sharpened,,, He was very pleased with his and uses it comercially clearing lots for construction and building fences, (Clearing old fence rows) his biggest compliment was that it was very powerful his other saws were an 020T, 036's and he said he had been needing a bigger saw and that he thought the fuel economy was great for a big saw......:D

I went for the 20" bar, to ME it felt ackward with the 25" bar.
It balances real nice with 20" bar for me.

Yup... cause balance is sooooooooooooooooo friggin' important.:bang:

Well when you are stumbling around through brush it is. I personally run the shortest bar I can and do it in one cut. It faster that way too.

Long bars are for softwood.:D
