A Trade maybe?

Member Jeff Lary just picked up these saws. I've been helping him with his 5000's through emails, but these are out of my knowledge on exactly what they are. He's looking for a positive id, thinking somebody may have changed covers/starters in the past. I got dibbs on the sign. :hmm3grin2orange:

I have a couple of saws that I may be willing to trade off for somthing else. The 2, I would trade off are in this picture the R-16 and the R-517( the one in the middle and closest to the camera). The Farmer I already gave to a young fella in need.I have been through them to the point of cleaning, and carb cleaning, new gas line yada yada. They ran when I put em up last year but I would make sure they run again before I let em leave. If your interested let me know.PM me Jeff

R12 Gas tank fuel nipple

Anyone have one or came up with a solution
To fix one? I broke it when trying to remove the fuel line

Does anyone know a source to get p100 / Mac 1000 (and whatever other saws they fit) crank seals?

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

Not sure where to get NOS OEM seals, but I would be surprised if they were not a off the shelf standard metric seal that could be obtained most anywhere.

Better off getting fresh seals anyway.

Are partner 55 parts available? I've got one and I'm just finding out before I put any time into it.

Gotta be a darn site better than P100 parts... I've been looking for a chain brake for many moons. Mine's got the side cover but the guts are all missing.

I picked up a Partner from the original owner this weekend, he said it was to heavy, whatever.....I know it is the wrong color but it is still a Partner. Now I need to find a gold one and a red one.

I've been keeping my eyes open for years for the Jred version... never seen one yet come up. :msp_unsure:

Partner 5000/ poulan pro 325

Reassembling my Pp325 and noticed there are two notches in the flywheel. One of them attaches to the flywheel key but ,which one? One notch is labelled 4 and the other 5. Any ideas?

God the info on this site. Guess I use 5. Thank you. Btw, I replaced seals, impulse nipple and boot. Won't hold vacuum and smearing grease around the seals shows no leaks. Can't find where vacuum leak is. Saw holds pressure as long as I want. Any thoughts?
