Ouch!

Ouch!! Got any gaskets for a s620? I need just about all the fuel system ones! None available in the uk.
I picked up this orphaned P50 about a month ago, it was run over by a tractor. I'm going to try to weld up the the hole in the gas tank. The cylinder is missing a huge piece of plating and is garbage. Luckily the piston is in good shape. I'm on the hunt for a decent P50 cylinder and rear handle.
I also picked up a load of gaskets for the older pioneers if anyone needs something.
Thanks Kevin

If the welding don't work out, I may have a case half. I have a P50 case with one of the rear av ears broke off. I think it's on the clutch side though.

Thanks for the offer Ed, I've never welded anything this thin before.

This is something i was wondering about, as i have a small crack in the 650. Are these made of a weldable alloy ? because to me they seem like "Mazak" a zinc/mag/al die casting alloy which is not weldable ?

Ah yes, thanks Jerry i see what you mean.
As luck would have it, i still have a box of mag rods, so i shall give it a go

I would kike to replace the reed block gasket and the manifold gasket and the oil pump gasket on the 52/525 if ya got em, let me know
Thanks Jim

Sorry Jim, I've only got gaskets for older models. Preety much every pioneer saw without a P in front of the model #. I"ve got some p10 stuff though..lol..
I think those are available at chainsawr or maybe even poulan pro.

If your piston has the centered ring end pins with flat ends on the rings then the ring end gap is much wider. I don`t have the specs for your saw, the P41 to P51 had ring end service gaps of .088- .108. I could not be sure of your saws specs.

I checked them I got .114,I think rings are going on the parts list :msp_scared:

525

disassembled and cleaned, I am going to install new rings, is it ok to use a nikisil application ball hone on chrome lined cylinders?
