didnt lose a circlip this time!!

I checked them I got .114,I think rings are going on the parts list :msp_scared:

Depending on the diameter and thickness, new rings are available with notched ends to fit around the locator pin. Brings the end gap down to .010"-.015". Or square ends you have to file.

PM me for a link.......................No, not me, selling them.

Thanks guys, i fired the P20 up today for the first time. It took about 4 pulls and it was off. The new silencer seems to work pretty good, and i am most impressed with how much grunt it has for a little saw

Here is what i did to replace the missing starter cup on the 650.

I have no idea what the original set-up was like :msp_unsure:
but it works well.

Thanks, yes its what i do for a living, but it also really helps with the toys too

Holy crap dude, that looks awesome! You got some serious fab skills. Do you do machine work too?

I bought a nice Tig a few months back, and haven't used it much, just a little practice on alu, and some muffler mods.

Thanks Parrisw, yes i have 3 lathes:msp_thumbup:
I have been in engineering/fabrication/welding for 30 years, and have a collection of old race bikes too. So these things come pretty naturally
Good luck with the tig, just keep practicing.

Checking in

Hey guys, I popped in to say hi, I haven't been on the site for awhile as I've been busy on another project. I thought I'd share:

You guessed it... Pioneer yellow. I'm going to mock it up tomorrow with the heads. It's an all-forged LS 383 stroker engine which will be going into my truck soon... along with my chromed blower. Anyways, that's what I've been up to while hibernating from a miserable winter. I hope to get out cutting some wood soon.
Brendon.

That looks FANTASTIC! Probably the first small block Chevy Pioneer Yellow. We will need more pics as you go along.

Cool! I have only 1 Lathe:msp_thumbup: poor me. I've built, fixed, fabed up lots of things, but your skills are beyond mine that's for sure, but 30years of time certainly helps, heck I'm only 34.

Just welded up a broken alu case on my butterfly ratchet today. Not as pretty as your welds, but it works.
