It's roller nose, no sprocket. It has a black wheel on the end and two gaps between the bar and the wheel where the chain would be hanging out in mid air for a link roughly? It's only about a 16" or 14" bar. I am going to buy it even if it doesn't fit I think.

I don't blame you. Sounds cool. We are gonna need a pic of this.

My 1450 with its original Pioneer rollernose. This saw was my last new Pioneer, 1967.

That is pretty much exactly what I saw except the roller is black and it had a Pioneer stencil on the bar. Will attempt a transaction in the AM :)

Scoundrel! That was only 20 min. from my house. I waited till 8:45 to call and he told me that you had called earlier.....
When I heard you were driving from the Dalles I backed off, I know when i'm beat.
Congrats, thats gonna be a fun saw to restore, If you find it sitting around and don't want it anymore.............

sorry again, i was comming from dallas. just came up from the shop, got it soaking now a little cyl surface rust looks good though. muf is gone:mad:,and needs the cable fore the bar rotator. i think it will live. picked a mac 250 thats real clean from the same.

Makes more sense you coming from dallas, not the dalles. That would be a long haul.
Sounds like that ol saw is in good hands.

Well Here it is!

Doesn't fit my P25 but I had to rescue it. :hmm3grin2orange:

Part number on it is 474254 C, 16 inch, .058, slot is .312 wide with caliper (8mm)

Very nice. Jerry can probably decode that number. It's got the twin oil grooves for both size bar studs, could be 007 mount.

I guess I missed the 8mm part.

I was pleasantly WRONG!

My P25 is pulled completely apart waiting for my lazy butt to fill the pits and paint it so I didn't check when I got home. I dug the nasty rusty bar out of the pile.

IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME MOUNT!

When I figure out how to get the P25 parts painted it will be perfect!

1073 must have a different bar pattern completely.

A 1073 has that stupid sheet metal thing for a chain tensioner.

Thats gonna look good on a p25.:rock:

That's a nice looking bar. It's a 3/8 .058 61 drive link chain. Perfect fit for a P25.
