You guy's are to much, But I like it!
Chainsaw guys are very sensitive eco freaks.

Take the saw, complete with bar, to a local saw shop (maker they retail doesn't matter - I like Stihl chain & my Stihl dealer is used by almost all the local loggers. They know what they're doing!). They'll check the necessary pitch and gauge, determine how many drive links (the part in the bar groove) you need and fabricate a chain. You, if comfortable with it can opt for a less safe (more apt to kick back - you'll need to ask) professional chain (they cut better IMO). One contact with the ground will dull any chain! If cutting anything of size, a cant hook or peavey is great! Even better if fitted with a log jack (fulcrum). I know of no chain that doesn't need occasional sharpening (maybe carbide but they cost more than your saw).where can I get a chainsaw chain for my Pioneer 500 chainsaw...I want one that will last for a long time without sharpeing it.....is there such a thing....I am new to chainsaws I know squat about them would love some help....But this pioneer 500 sounds good ....it needs a tune up....any video to show me how to tune it up...Please Help
Thanks Rich
