Take the saw, complete with bar, to a local saw shop (maker they retail doesn't matter - I like Stihl chain & my Stihl dealer is used by almost all the local loggers. They know what they're doing!). They'll check the necessary pitch and gauge, determine how many drive links (the part in the bar groove) you need and fabricate a chain. You, if comfortable with it can opt for a less safe (more apt to kick back - you'll need to ask) professional chain (they cut better IMO). One contact with the ground will dull any chain! If cutting anything of size, a cant hook or peavey is great! Even better if fitted with a log jack (fulcrum). I know of no chain that doesn't need occasional sharpening (maybe carbide but they cost more than your saw).

I cleaned that 650 and painted it up, had it down for a week and it started on the first pull when I put it together. I'll get some pics tomorrow, still looking for bar studs and plates.

I'll get some pics in the morning if the rain quits, hold off on the studs for now I haven't heard from Wagonworks. Why is the front stud different? the case has two thread sizes in the front hole?

Yes it does, on the IPL it has two different part numbers for the front and rear, on this saw the front has a larger thread to the outside and one inch in, it changes to a little smaller thread. All of the threads look good.
