The saw is alive and running, looks like he had water in the fuel and carb way out of adjustment. Going to need bar studs, maybe a drive end seal and washer and ? He had 1/2" chain, 404 sprocket and a Homelite bar on it.
Remember my 700 had the outer guide plate smashed on backwards, and rubbing against the clutch drum.

I received a lot of info from Fossil and would like to thank him.

Yep. Tim hooked me up with a ton of information.

Did you fire that 700 up yet? How about the P61?

This saw sounds good and I think it will make someone a real shelf queen with a little paint and patients. I can't put it in any wood without making up a 404 chain and setting up a bar, I'd rather send it on to a collector while I have little in it. I can put the power head at your door (in the lower 48) for $130.

The 700 fires with fuel to the cylinder. I cleaned up the bowl, and replaced lines, but I can't get the primer to pick up fuel.
I like the sound when it does fire up.
It probably needs the carb completely gone through.
I'm not sure if I want to get that far into it, at this point. I've messaged Duke Thieroff a couple of times about parts, and have yet to hear anything.
I'm thinking this saw might be better served to reside in Yucaipa.
